Grand Lobby

Our renovated historical Inn features a Grand Lobby filled with antiques and music boxes from around the globe. At the center of the lobby lies the Grand Staircase, framed by hand crafted, stained glass windows. This space is ideal for an extravagant buffet or elegant cocktail hour.

Tanner Dining Room , Veranda Terrace, and Poolside

Our most popular ceremony and reception site is a combination of our Tanner Dining Room, Veranda Terrace and Poolside. This magical, Mediterranean-inspired setting provides an elegant dining experience for up to 215 guests. Tall french style doors open to the covered terrace, offering a breathtaking view of Lake Lure and the surrounding mountains. The Poolside is a lovely outdoor ceremony site and offers a beautiful locale for an elegant hors d'oeuvres and cocktail hour.

The Gardens

Presenting the best of both worlds, The Gardens is a picturesque and private venue offering stylish indoor seating and a lush perennial garden. This unique site is ideal for more intimate receptions, rehersal dinners, bridal luncheons or private dinner parties for up to 50 guests.

Roosevelt Hall

Originally used for filming scenes from the popular film "Dirty Dancing", Roosevelt Hall is perfect for gatherings of guests up to 75. Eight chandeliers, 11 ft ceilings, and a grand fireplace create an intimate, yet spacious atmosphere.

Powers Room

Located inside our historic Inn, the Powers Room features arched windows, mid-19th century antique displays and french doors that can be opened into the Grand Lobby. This charming venue is often selected for private bridal showers and luncheons, and can accommodate up to 25 guests.

Lakeside Gazebo

Delight in a lakeside ceremony with the Blue Ridge Mountains as your backdrop. Located less than a mile from the Inn, you will have a stunning view of your ceremony site from many of the Inn's reception venues. Most couples choose to upgrade to our premier Gazebo Package. Gazebo packages may be limited to select dates and include white wedding chairs and the use of our historic Trolley, allowing your guests to arrive and depart from your ceremony in style.

Historic Trolley and Carriage

Our 32 passenger historic Trolley is an excellent way to transport guests from an off-site ceremony location to your reception. Many of our newlyweds travel back to the Inn by way of Horse and Carriage, available in several styles.

Welcome Party Bonfire on the Beach

Why wait to greet your guests at the reception? Treat your family and friends to a
"Welcome Party" bonfire on the beach, complete with tiki torches, s'mores and music.

Extra Touches

Amaze your guests by including the Inn's exclusive "Extra Touches". Celebrate the beginning of your new life together in style.

Accommodations for You and Your Wedding Guests

All Brides and Grooms receive a complimentary sleeping room on their Wedding Night! Ensure that your guests will have available sleeping rooms for your Wedding as well. Please note that reservations within a group block cannot be made online. Your guests should call the Inn directly at 888-434-4970.
